@ Dandenong Basketball

ConnectEast, the owner and operator of EastLink, and Dandenong Jayco Rangers have signed a partnership to deliver the EastLink Healthy Choices Secondary Schools Program into 18 secondary schools in the City of Greater Dandenong over the next two years.
The program will provide students with the information and knowledge to become leaders in positive decision-making and a healthy lifestyle. Road safety education, an issue ConnectEast is passionate about, is an integral part of the program.
Presenters will be supplied by RoadSafe South-East and Dandenong Jayco Rangers with Sam Woosnam, the leading player ambassador.
Session one will be a one hour presentation in the classroom featuring a visit from Sam and other Dandenong Rangers players. The emphasis is on undertaking safe road user behaviour, both as a driver and a passenger. This program also provides general information about good decision making and healthy lifestyle choices. The theme “one poor choice can change your life forever” will be utilised as a reminder of the consequences of making bad decisions.
Session two will be hosted on-court at Dandenong Basketball Stadium including practical interaction with wheelchair basketball to underline the road safety messages.
We are encouraging schools to sign up for this innovative, informative and fun-filled program. If you want this program to be delivered to your school, please contact Marketing, Communications & Development Manager
Paul Flynn on 9794 7192.
