Dandenong Basketball Association Strategic Planning
The DBA Strategic Plan 2009 – 2012 continues to drive the focus of the DBA business. This plan has been developed with the support of all areas of the DBA and we continue to receive valued input and direction through regular Focus Groups and Club President meetings.
Our vision is clear: We will be Australia’s best sporting association providing our community with an enjoyable, rewarding and affordable experience.
We have many opportunities and there is much work to do if we are to achieve this vision. It will take a sustained effort from all members of the DBA community and we are confident it can be achieved.
This is the first time the DBA has a documented Strategic Plan and implementing it will mean that we need to evolve and change how we do business. Implementing this plan will be a learning experience for us all and so we ask also that you are patient and provide encouragement to everyone who is in involved.
Our DBA Strategic Plan does not limit or prevent any Club from pursuing any agenda important to them but does enable and coordinate our activities where there is benefit to all of us from doing so.
We will be systematically reviewing and reporting our progress against the Plan and we welcome continued input, comments, advice and contribution.
