Berwick Basketball Club 2nd hand uniform drive
Berwick Basketball Club is collecting wearable second-hand basketball uniforms to send to Christchurch New Zealand, where they are still suffering the effects of the 2011 earthquakes. Many families lost their homes and possessions and more than 12 months on, they are still trying to re-build their lives. That includes getting their children back into the sport they love, but there is little or no money for replacing necessary equipment, including uniforms.
We can help by sending second-hand uniforms in good condition. If you have out-grown uniforms in the drawer, please consider donating to this very worthy cause.
Clean, wearable uniforms can be left in the marked basket at the Dandenong Basketball Stadium on Saturday 21 July, or alternatively contact Alison 0407 090 493.
The Berwick Basketball Club thanks you, and the children of Christchurch will thank you too!
